Head Coach: Kathrine Gilman
This will be Coach Gilman's first year as Head Coach for IC Cheerleading!
Prior to coaching, Kathrine was a varsity cheerleader herself, and has had great amounts of experience in both game day and competition cheer. She received a Bachelor's degree of Arts from West Virginia University in 2016, and Master of Arts in Teaching in Mathematics Education from Boston University in 2017. Currently, she is a PhD student in Science and Technology Studies at Cornell University!
In her coaching, Kathrine is driven and hands-on. She previously coached a high school cheerleading team in Boston, MA, for 3 years, leading them to a championship placement for the first time in their school's history, for 3 years! She emphasizes the importance of trust, growth, inclusivity, as well as safety within our team. As she fosters this collaborative and supportive dynamic and environment, she will help us achieve our goals and aspirations for the next years to come! She is a great addition to IC Cheer!

Given that IC Cheer is considered a club sport at Ithaca College, the team depends on its executive board members to make important decisions for each season, as well as handle all administrative duties for the team. E-Board members have a wide range of tasks including but not limited to; event planning, budget request submissions, organization of fundraising opportunities, competition travel arrangements, as well as management of all social media pages. The executive board works hard on and off the mat to ensure IC Cheer functions at its full potential.
